Chris Milligan
Managing Director

 

Chris Milligan draws on his extensive experience with Bombardier Inc. to keep Skyjet at the forefront of the private charter jet industry. He became managing director of Skyjet in 2006 and focuses on developing strategies to optimize the company's operations. Milligan works to create strong, high-performing teams who are dedicated to providing the best possible service to Skyjet members.  Milligan has served in a variety of capacities with the world aviation leader, and is former director of fleet management for Bombardier Flexjet, a leading fractional jet provider.

A University of North Texas graduate with a dual major in finance and accounting, Milligan worked in the accounting department for Fidelity Investments, then for Electronic Data Systems. At Electronic Data Systems, he became a business analyst and was hired at Bombardier in 1996 as a market analyst and database administrator.  The perspective that Milligan brought to Bombardier earned him the position of manager of operations research and system optimization, where he created a five-year fleet planning model that compared supply, demand and operational results. During this process, he worked closely with all departments, familiarizing himself with the detailed operations of Bombardier.

 

In 2001, Milligan was promoted to director of fleet management. He created efficiency models to improve operating costs and fine-tune processes. This resulted in more competitive rates with improved dependability. He also worked to develop strong, high-performing work teams – a priority that Milligan continues as director of Skyjet.

 

 

Todd Johnson

National Sales Director

 

Todd Johnson brings 19 years of sales experience to the Bombardier Jet Card Sales Team.  He joined Skyjet in 1999 as a Regional Sales Director in the Midwest and has covered most of the country throughout his years with the team.  He became the National Sales Director in 2007.  Todd leads a team of Sales Directors and Sales Associates that is focused on the sale of Bombardier’s Jet Card programs. 

 

Prior to joining Skyjet, he held positions as Sales Manager at Boston Coach, National Account Manager at American Express and Account Executive at United Airlines.  Todd’s experience in different fields within the travel industry has been very beneficial in understanding the various needs of our clients.

 

Todd graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Economics. 

 

 

Dawn Plonkey

Manager of Member Services and Operations

 

Dawn Plonkey brings more than 12 years of high end customer service experience to Bombardier Skyjet, including 10 years in the cruise and resort industries. She joined Bombardier in 2005 as the Manager of Owner Services and Owner Relations for Bombardier Flexjet. Before joining Bombardier Dawn served as the Director of Guest Experience at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa where she was responsible for the overall guest experience. Prior to Westin, Dawn acquired her sea legs serving as Guest Relations Manager on board Celebrity Cruises. Dawn holds a B.S. in psychology from Arizona State University.

 

 

Amy Haga

Manager of Finance

 

Amy van Doren joined Skyjet in October 2007, and brings over nine years of accounting and finance experience to the Skyjet organization.  Before joining Skyjet, Amy was with Dallas based 7-11, Inc where she managed the credit and gift card accounting team.  Amy is a Southern Methodist University graduate who has worked for other high profile companies such as Tramell Crow, Gap, Inc., and Pier1Kids.  Amy has a proven ability to create efficient accounting teams that provide relevant and timely information by using process innovation and goal oriented motivation; which she plans to continue implementing at Skyjet.

 

 

Robert Valdez

Manager of Marketing

 

Robert Valdez Jr. joined Bombardier Skyjet in 2007 and brings over 13 years of cross-functional marketing experience to the Skyjet Team. Throughout his professional career, Valdez has been responsible for Partnership and Relationship Marketing (B2B & B2C), Business Development, Sales, and Customer Acquisition.

Valdez graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA in Marketing and has held a number of positions with MBNA Marketing Systems (now Bank of America), Blockbuster Inc, The Dallas Morning News, and Southwest Airlines. Valdez has successfully managed People, Processes, and Business Partner relationships and continues to draw on his experiences to help Bombardier Skyjet grow it's business within a very competitive and growing industry.
